Hi! I’m just A Simple Republican. Thanks for stopping by.

Here is a little about me.

I was born to a Guatemalan father and a Nicaraguan mother in Guatemala City, Guatemala were I grew up and lived most of my early childhood in a small two bedroom apartment. I attended an American school where I learned English among many other subjects. At the age of 10 my mother moved to the United States under a refugee agreement the U.S. had with Nicaragua. The United States granted asylum and residence to many Nicaraguan people that had fled the country after the Sandinista Revolution ( you might remember all the news coverage during Reagan’s presidency).

I attended high school in Houston, Texas and later went on to graduate from Texas A&M University were I obtained a Bachelors and a Masters in Engineering. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Theology from the University of St. Thomas.

I currently dedicate most of my time to a Non-Profit Organization (www.nutejeamerica.org). We help extremely impoverished children that are suffering from severe malnutrition in Nicaragua and Venezuela with hopes of expanding our reach all over!

I also help run a local Youth Ministry and sit on the Financial Council of St. Cyril of Alexandria in Houston, Texas.
